Locations excellent, very close to shops and attractions. The shower area could use some cleaning. Comfortable bed, Netflix access a nice bonus.

Quirky Stay with Unique Decor

My solo visit provided an interesting glimpse of local life, especially from the vibrant pub nearby. Despite some inconveniences with the shared bathroom, the unique decor added personality. For a more comfortable stay, consider bringing earplugs for noisy nights and check in during quieter times.

Spot on location makes it a breeze to hit up local venues and shops. The kitchen had solid amenities, including a microwave and plenty of utensils, though sadly no fridge.

The room looked far better in the photos than in reality, revealing noticeable wear and tear throughout. I felt the lack of reception staff made it awkward for first-time visitors, and the noise from the nearby alleyway and bin collection disrupted my sleep. Only a single, thin pillow was provided, which isn't much for comfort, leaving me to improvise with a towel.

The Avenues brought me right into the heart of the city—proper buzzing! The self check-in was dead easy, and I got to enjoy a Netflix binge after my culinary hikes around town. Bonus, wicked clean digs and fab kitchen facilities to whip up a quick snack!

The location down an alley may seem off-putting, and the sparse decor might not appeal to everyone. The communication from the hosts was commendable, providing clear instructions.

the avenues offers a basic but comfortable standard double room, right in the heart of the city. it's really close to shops, which is a big plus. manager tony was super helpful and clear in his communication, making check-in a breeze. i would definitely stay here again.

I found The Avenues to be a great base for my city adventures. The location is fantastic, right at the heart of Manchester. The self check-in process was super easy. I appreciated the cleanliness of my Standard Double Room. The bed was comfortable, allowing for some good sleep after long days exploring. I enjoyed binging on Netflix on the decent TV in the room. The kitchen facilities really helped me whip up some snacks when I needed a quick bite. On the downside, the mattress felt a bit worn and could use an upgrade. No fridge meant I had to figure out snacks differently. Some minor cooking smells wafted in, but that was manageable. Plus, it could use better soundproofing since I heard a few noises from outside.
